Adobe Premiere Pro is a great product. If you're a Final Cut Pro 7 user and thinking about switching to Adobe Premiere Pro, I would like to persuade you to try a free trial. It is really not all that different from Avid or Final Cut Pro. Yes, there are differences in terminology and some functionality, but you know it's more about the skills of the editor than it is the software, right? It might be tough to switch at first but after you get used to it, a talented editor can use a different tool than they have used over the years. I personally like Premiere because it plays nice with After Effects and Adobe Production Premium comes with a ton of software (Photoshop, After Effects, Encore, Illustrator, Media Encoder, Flash Pro, Audition, SpeedGrade, and more).
